The highly reflective red striping on the Hydrafinder™ Fire Hydrant Marker fiberglass shaft affords instant day and night visual location of the hydrant. The high-visibility marker quickly locates hydrants buried in snow or covered with seasonal vegetation overgrowth.

The resilient 3/8" diameter white laminar matrix fiberglass shaft is attached to a heavy duty MIL SPEC zinc plated carbon steel spring mount that allows for 360 degree total flexibility.

The Hydrafinder™ Fire Hydrant Marker fiberglass shaft is corrosion free and UV resistant.

Flat Bracket “L” Bracket Hydrafinder™
The Hydrafinder™ Fire Hydrant Marker is adaptable to most standard fire hydrants with an easy to install 5/8" diameter bolt-on steel "flat" (Fig. A) or "L" (Fig. B) mounting bracket.

 

Port Mount HydraView™
For the budget minded customer, we would like to introduce our new low cost "HYDRAVIEW" marker. This unit has the same quality components RoDon Corporation has been known for in the past. We have removed the spring and added a port mount ring. This unit is intended for areas not prone to vandalism and crime. This unit is not suggested for areas with large concentrations of children such as schools, parks, playgrounds or bus stops.

Port Mount HydraFinder™Fire Hydrant Marker
This unit will be exactly the same as out "Original" HYDRAFINDER™ Fire Hydrant Marker but will have the ability to be port mounted. This allows the unit to be totally removed in the case of a fire.

Extended Port Mount HydraFinder™ Fire Hydrant Marker
This unit will be exactly the same as the Port Mount HydraFinder™ Fire Hydrant Marker with the exception of an extended bracket for extra clearance. The Port Mount allows the unit to be totally removed in the case of a fire.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES:

  • Standard Hydrafinders have reflective red and silver striping the entire length of the rod to eliminate UV ray caused fiberglass blooming, for safer handling.

  • The HYDRAFINDER™ Fire Hydrant Marker may be ordered in the standard 5', 6’ and 7’ lengths. Specialty lengths available upon request.

  • Custom reflective striping denoting community, association, or collegiate loyalty is available in Orange, Yellow, Blue, or Green.

  • Shipped fully assembled, the HYDRAFINDER™ Fire Hydrant Marker hardware includes the customer specified "L" or "flat" steel mounting bracket and the MIL SPEC spring mount.

  • The HYDRAFINDER™ Fire Hydrant Marker requires no maintenance and can be left up all year round. Also it can be easily removed for seasonal use.

  • ALL COMPONENT PARTS ARE MANUFACTURED AND ASSEMBLED IN THE U.S.A.
